
NYS Police: Searching for the Person Who Lost This Chainsaw
New York State Police in Oneida are asking for the public's help in identifying the owner of this chainsaw, that was seemingly left behind by mistake.
According to Troopers:
"New York State Police in Oneida are attempting to locate the owner of a Husqvarna 445e II chainsaw that was found last week near State Route 5 in the town of Lenox.
Anyone claiming ownership must be able to provide proof that the chainsaw belongs to them.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the New York State Police at (315) 366-6000 and reference case number NY2500780236."
The model of Husqvarna chainsaw is listed for $999.
Police are asking for calls and tips to be made to the Mohawk Valley Crime Stoppers tip line, anonymously at 1-866-730-8477. The Warrants Unit can also be reached at (315) 223-3580.
Police added as a reminder that "everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law."
