Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica police arrested two people following a recent drug bust. In a joint effort with the U.S. Marshals Office, UPD carried out a drug search of an apartment on Leeds Street in Utica.

Investigators say they found a metal knuckle knife, cocaine, marijuana amd packaging materials in the apartment. The suspects, 30-year-old Stephen Shaw, and 33-year-old Maria Brancaccio, both of Utica, are facing the following charges:

  • Stephen Shaw - criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd degree, selling an imitation controlled substances, criminal possession of a weapon 4th degree and unlawful possession of marijuana.
  • Maria Brancaccio - criminal possession of a controlled substance, selling an imitation controlled substances and unlawful possession of marijuana.
