Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica police arrested two people following an investigation into the sale of prescription drugs. According to the report, investigators arrested the two suspects after arranging a drug transaction. During the operation, one suspect sold the investigator 12 Suboxone pills, typically used to treat opiate addiction, however officials say the pills are also used for illegal purposes.

Later, investigators found 42 additional pills on the suspect. 40-year-old Manuel Heredia and 26-year-old Angela Liberatore are charged with felony Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor vehicle.
