A five-month investigation into the sale of methamphetamine had led to the arrests of two Rome residents.

According to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, police executed a search warrant today at a home on Lamphear Road.

47-year old Anthony Armstrong and 35-year old Corie Edwards were charged with unlawful manufacture of meth and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Authorities say the home had been the subject of an investigation in the past.

That investigation in December of last year resulted in the arrest of Armstrong and several others on similar charges.
