United Way Celebrates National 211 Day

Today is National 2-1-1 Day and the United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica Area is celebrating the first year of 2-1-1 Mid York, which covers Oneida, Herkimer and Madison Counties

2-1-1 Mid York is a 24-hour hotline that provides health and human services help.

Brenda Episcopo, Executive Director of the United Way, says they're launching a new website today to go along with the hotline. She says you can search for the help you need by town, county and region.

The website is 211MidYork.org

2-1-1 Mid York served more than 3,000 individuals during its first year.
