University of Phoenix to Lay Off More Employees

More layoffs are planned for one online educator.

The University of Phoenix is said to be letting about 470 employees go in an effort to downsize.

The Phoenix Business Journal is reporting that the layoff's were announced in a letter from the school's president to the its parent company, the Apollo Education Group.

Last year the University of Phoenix laid off about 1,500 people.
