An update on the situation with the new hospital proposed in the city of Utica, New York is expected this afternoon.
Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente and Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri are holding a press conference at three o'clock today in the Oneida County Executive's office.
Local leaders, including New York Senator Joseph Griffo and Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi, were scheduled to meet with Governor Andrew Cuomo's staff earlier today after it was announced that $300 million in state funding would not be available for a hospital project.
