The Genesis Group and the City of Utica will be holding their Independence Day holiday celebration on Tuesday.

The annual 4th of July Parade will begin at 11:00 a.m in front of St. Elizabeth Medical Center on Genesee Street.  The parade will travel north on Genesee to the Memorial Parkway, turn right onto the Parkway and end at Oneida Street.

The Parade Grand Marshal is Reverend Joseph Salerno,  pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes and Our Lady of the Rosary Churches and Chaplin of the Utica Police and Fire departments.

The annual Party in The Park will take place from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at FT Proctor Park on Culver Avenue.

The event will include, food, music and fireworks.
