The local American Red Cross chapter was busy again Thursday night.

Utica Fire officials were dispatched to a residence on Seymour Avenue just before 11 p.m.

Six people were displaced as a result of the blaze and no injuries were reported.

Volunteers from the Red Cross provided emotional and financial support to three adults and three children.

This was the first fire for the New 3 Engine from Vander Molen Fire Apparatus and the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
