Utica Man Arrested For Violating Stay Away Order Of Protection

An 18-year-old Utica man has been arrested for Criminal Contempt.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says, deputies responded to an address on Marble Road in Vernon Saturday night for a reported domestic dispute.

An investigation revealed Jonathan Surprenant, who had fled the scene before deputies arrived, violated a stay away order of protection.

Surprenant was later located and taken into custody and brought to the Oneida County Correctional Facility for arraignment.
