Utica Police Investigating Fatal Scooter Accident

A man has died following a scooter accident on Mohawk Street in the City of Utica.

According to Lt. Bryan Coromato, the accident is still under investigation by the accident reconstruction crew.

The incident occurred at South Mohawk Street around 4:30 p.m. Friday. The driver of the scooter passed away early Saturday morning.

The identity of the male victim is not being released at this time.
