Utica Police Investigating Two Shooting Incidents

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Police are investigating a shooting incident that happened at 168 Elmwood Place.

It took place just after 11:00 last night.

Police say gun shots were fired into a first floor apartment-bedroom, where a baby and several small children were sleeping.

No one was was injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call the UPD at 223-3510.

Meanwhile, officers responded to a shooting on the 1400 block of Kemble Street last night.

Police say one person was shot and their condition is not being released at this time.

It's not known if the shooting incidents are related.
