Utica Police Warn Of Man Preying On Elderly Women

Utica Police are warning the public of a man who has been praying on on elderly women.

The man allegedly uses one of several stories to get into the women's homes where he distracts them and takes their purses.

Police say the suspect is a white man in his late twenties or early thirties and may have a speech impediment.

If you have elderly relatives, you should advise them of the situation and remind them not to let anyone into their homes that they don't know, and if it happens to them to call police immediately.
