Utica Police Write 51 Tickets During Operation Safe Stop

Utica Police took part in "Operation Safe Stop" on Thursday, a statewide program targeting motorists who illegally pass school buses.

Officers issued a total of 51 traffic summonses.

37 were for speeding in a school zone and 4 were for passing a school bus.
