Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Police recover a stolen handgun after a routine traffic Stop. According to authorities, Utica Police pulled over 17-year old Bandr Alfalahi near Park Avenue and Eagle Street and after a search of the teen, the loaded 22-caliber handgun was discovered in his pant's pocket.

Police say the teen struggled with police and attempted to place his hand inside the same pocket as the gun.  Alfalahi was arrested on 2 felony charges, Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Possession of Stolen Property. The teen was also arrested for Possession of Marijuana.

His passenger, 24-year old Christopher Clark was also arrested on a misdemeanor charge of Obstructing Governmental Administration.
