Utica Woman Arrested for Jason Street Stabbing
A Utica woman has been arrested following a stabbing incident on Jason Street.
According to Utica Police Lieutenant Bryan Coromato, officers responded to the scene at approximately 11 a.m. on Monday.
Upon arrival police discovered a female victim with stab wounds to her head and body. The victim informed officers that she was involved in a physical altercation with the suspect.
That suspect was identified as 20-year-old Michelle Talarczyk of Utica. Talarczyk allegedly pulled the knife during the fight and stabbed the victim several times. She was located at a nearby residence and taken into custody.
Michelle Talarczyk is facing a Felony Count of Assault in the 2nd degree and a Misdemeanor Charge for Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
The victim was treated at the scene and moved to St. Elizabeth's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
