A vote will take place this evening on the agreement reached between Governor Andrew  Cuomo, Oneida and Madison Counties and the Oneida Indian Nation.

A special meeting of the Oneida County Board of Legislators will be held at 5:30.

Minority Leader Frank Tallarino had asked that the meeting be delayed to allow time for questions and concerns to be answered.

But Board Chairman Gerald Fiorni said the governor's office had set a timeframe and the vote would go on as planned.

Tallarino is now requesting that the public comment period, usually limited to 30 minutes, be extended to enable the public to be heard on the issue.
