Voters Reminded Of Propositions On November Ballot
The Herkimer County Board of Elections is reminding voters that there will be items to vote for on both sides of the ballot in November.
Candidates for office will be listed on one side of the ballot and state and local propositions will appear on the other side.
Officials say there is misinformation spreading that not casting a vote will count as a "yes" vote on the propositions, but that's not true.
They say if a vote is not cast, then the ballot will go through as a "non-vote."
