Walton High School Student Collapses and Dies

Officials in the Walton School District say counselors are being made available to students and staff after a High School senior collapsed in a hallway and died.

Superintendent Roger Clough issued a statement informing parents of the incident that was said to be the result of a medical emergency.

The student’s name has not been released.

The Superintendent said condolences and thoughts are going out to the family and friends of the 12^th grader and parents are being encouraged to discuss the incident with their children whether they knew the student or not.
