The Republican Response delivered to President Obama's State of the Union speech on Tuesday night was historic.  But history may take a back seat to an unintended sideshow of Rubio's speech...or was it planned?

It was the first time the Republican Response was delivered in both English and Spanish. That fact made history.

Also making history, though, and garnering more interest in the GOP response, was the fact that Florida Senator Marco Rubio felt the need to take a break while delivering his speech.  He paused, some say dramatically, for a cool sip of water.  Was it planned to make him look more "human" to potential voters on a national stage or did the poor guy just need to whet his whistle?
