Water Main Break Near Murnane Field in Utica

The sub-zero temperatures we've seen in central New York over the past week have kept the Mohawk Valley Water Authority busy with several water main breaks in the area.

Crews were dealing with yet another break on Saturday morning, in the area of Burrstone Road and Bennett Street. Traffic detours are up to divert vehicles around the scene.

Officials tell us the water supply to Murnane Field is affected, but not to other area businesses.
