WIB Urging Employers To Provide Updates

Utica, NY (WIBX) - With the new year approaching, a local organizations is making updates to ensure people find employment.

The Workforce Investment Board of Herkimer, Madison and Oneida Counties is updating its website to include the latest information from local agencies that offer services for job-seekers, youth and families. Those agencies can visit their website at www.working-solutions.org to make the updates.

Workforce Investment Board Executive Director Alice Savino says they want to list as many services as they can on that website to ensure workers and families can use it as a resource.

"Whether through staff transitions or changes in telephone numbers and e-mails, information gets dates very quickly," Savino said. "We are planning to update our website with new information as of the first of the years so that people who are reaching out for help don't find themselves contacting a dead end."
