William Wren Named Fire Safety Educator Of The Year

A New Hartford firefighter has been honored by the Firemen's Association of the State New York (FASNY) as Fire Safety Educator of the Year.

William Wren has been a member of the New Hartford Fire Department for 28 years and has also been an instructor with the New York State Fire Academy since 1999.

He's been active in fire prevention education from students from kindergarten through sixth grade.

The award honors the best fire safety advocates in New York state, recognizing an educator with dedication to fire prevention and the safety of his or her community.
