The winners of what some have called New York's "Hunger Games" will be announced today.

Leaders from competing regions are gathering in Albany this morning to find out which three areas will win $500 million in grant money from Governor Andrew Cuomo's Upstate Revitalization Initiative.

Locally the Mohawk Valley put together a sizable committee and presentation using the combined resources of six counties which comprise the group dubbed "MV500."
