A New Hartford woman was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child and DWI following a traffic stop in the Town of Sangerfield Saturday night.
Maryanne Wells was stopped on Route 20 in the Town of Sangerfield at about 10:30PM when she failed to signal a turn and she drove the wrong way down a one way street.
Wells was operating her vehicle with two 16 year old passengers and after failing several field sobriety tests, she was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Wells faces two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, one count DWI, one count having a blood alcohol content of .08% or higher and one count of aggravated DWI or having a blood alcohol content of .18% or higher.
Wells is due to appear in Sangerfield Town Court on a later date.
