Rasmussen Poll On Bin Laden, U.S.-Muslim Relationship
Utica, NY (WIBX) - After the death of Osama Bin Laden, Americans remain concerned about the possibility of a terrorist attack in the U.S. That's according to the latest Rasmussen report that finds, 73-percent of likely voters think there will be another terrorist attack in the country in 2012.
The poll finds that 80-percent of voters think terrorists are a bigger threat to the U.S. than a traditional war. Also, 25-percent believe the death of Bin Laden will hurt U.S. relations with the Muslim world, while only 14-percent say they believe his death will improve the relationship. 37-percent say it will have no impact, and 25-percent say they're not sure.
The report states that last year, only 9-percent of voters believed U.S. - Muslim relations would improve within a year. The poll also finds overwhelming approval of President Obama's decision to kill Bin Laden, despite the threat of another attack. 1,000 people were polled nationwide for the results.
