Woman Arrested For Falsely Reporting An Incident

A Cassville woman has been arrested following an investigation by the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.

33-year old Leila Carpenter is charged with falsey reporting an incident, endangering the welfare of a child and obstructing governmental administration.

Authorities say Carpenter interfered with an investigation into an alleged sexual offense that was reported earlier this month.
