Woman Facing Charges Following Fatal Crash

A Bouckville woman is facing charges of criminally negligent homicide and DWI following a fatal crash on North Butler Road in the Town of Smithfield.

State Police say 19-year old Megan Lee lost control of her vehicle on a curve, left the road and struck a silo.

Troopers say Lee fled the scene and was located at a nearby home.

A passenger in the vehicle, 25-year old Corey Stoddard of Earlville, died of massive head trauma.

Two other passengers were taken to the hospital and treated for apparent non-life threatening injuries.
