New Hartford Man Killed In Snowmobile Accident

A New Hartford man was killed in a snowmobile accident in the Town of Litchfield on Wednesday night.

State Police say 48-year old Raymond Barretta lost control of his sled on a curve and struck a tree.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers say witnesses told them Barretta was going too fast for conditions.
