Workers Do Not Link Success With Size Of Paycheck
Chicago, IL (WIBX) - A poll by CareerBuilder shows that about three-quarters of Americans say that they do not need a big paycheck in order to feel successful.
In the poll conducted for CareerBuilder by HarrisInteractive, about 23% say they would consider them successful earning less than $50,000 a year. Just under 30% say they would be more successful if they made between $50,ooo and $70,000. Only ten percent say that they need at least $150,000 a year to be successful.
Just about seventy percent say that they are making what they want, although most have not received a merit raise in two or more years.
