Senator Joseph Griffo and Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi have secured an additional $175,000 n state funding for the Whitesboro Central School District.

The funding will be used to improve safety measures and security in Whitesboro schools.

“The efforts of Assemblyman Brindisi and Senator Griffo truly make a difference in the lives of our students and families.  The safety of our students, staff, and visitors to our schools is of the utmost importance, and these funds will be used directly to supplement our safety and security initiatives,” said Brian Bellair, Superintendent of the Whitesboro Central School District.

Griffo secured $75,000 and Brindisi obtained $100,000.
