A pair of Yankees are headed to Cincinnati for the 2015 MLB All-Star Game and they may soon be joined by a third. However, for the first time in 1999 the pinstripes won't have a player in the American League's staring lineup.

First baseman Mark Teixeira's 20 home runs and 59 RBI (through Monday) have earned him a spot as a reserve on the American League team - his third career selection - replacing Detroit's Miguel Cabrera on the roster.

Reliever Dellin Betances will make his second All-Star team, having posted a 5-1 record with a 1.50 ERA and seven saves.

Meanwhile, outfielder Brett Gardner has been named a Final Vote nominee. Fans can select the last member named to each league's squad. For the American League that list includes Xander Bogaerts, Yoenis Cespedes, Brian Dozier and Mike Moustakas.
