ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Police in Albany say a 48-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man are responsible for the March overdose of a Vermont woman.

Albany police arrested 48-year-old Jodi Noisseau and 53-year-old Christopher Kondracki, both of Albany, in connection with the death of 24-year-old Keisha Richards. They have been charged with tampering with evidence, and Noisseau additionally faces a manslaughter charge.

Authorities say Richards died of an overdose when she was with Noisseau and Kondracki at an Albany home. Police say the two wiped down her body with bleach to destroy evidence before dumping her body on a sidewalk March 14.

Both were recently arraigned and are being held Wednesday in the Albany County Jail. It couldn't be learned from authorities if either has a lawyer who could comment on the charges.
