Utica is on the national map again, this time for a unique arts development project.

Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri, representatives from Artspace and Cornell Rust to Green Urban Studio are launching a regional arts survey.

The group is issuing a call to action from the regional arts community to take the on-line Utica Artspace Survey.

The survey will set the stage for a possible $20 million arts development project in the city.

Artspace creates affordable housing where artists can work and live.

Strong participation in the survey from the arts community is imperative to move the project forward.

The survey can be found at uticaartspacesurvey.org.
