The Cincinnati-area assistant Catholic high school principal who was fired for posting a pro-gay marriage blog on his personal website joined WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning on Monday.

Mike Moroski, says the example he set was the one he always tried to set for his students: follow your instincts.

"I do absolutely respect the Catholic Church very much. I'm not taking on Rome's teaching at all."

"I am not taking on the Church's stance on gay marriage, but it would be nice if one day they recognized civil unions", Moroski said.

In case you were wondering, Moroski says he is married (to a woman), and is not gay.

After all of the incident, Moroski says of his fair, it 'has grown.'
