Big High School Football Weekend

This weekend marks the fifth week of the Section 4 high school football schedule.  WNBF Radio will visit Spartan Stadium for the 1:30 PM Homecoming match-up between Maine-Endwell and the Windsor Black Knights.  The Spartans are 2-2 including an opening night loss to undefeated Chenango Forks.  The Black Knights are 1-3.  Currently, the Spartans are in fourth place in Section 4 Class B.  Windsor is 1-3. Saturday's broadcast begins at 1:20 PM.

There is plenty of other Class B  Friday night action as well.  Susquehanna Valley at Owego is one of the key match-ups.  Waverly travels to unbeaten Chenango Forks.  Chenango Valley visits Norwich and Corning plays at Johnson City.

On Saturday afternoon the Binghamton Patriots put their 1-3 slate up against 1-3 Elmira.  Union-Endicott will look to move to 5-0 when the Tigers host 1-3 Horseheads.  Another unbeaten is Newark Valley.  They have out scored opponents 158-45 and meet Whitney Point also on Saturday afternoon.  The Point won its first game of the season last weekend and is 1-4.
