
Bills CB Vontae Davis Literally Retired From Football During The Game
Have you ever heard of such a thing?
Buffalo Bills cornerback Vontae Davis apparently told the team he 'was done' at halftime, left the team and is retiring, according the TheBleacherReport!
Yeah.
The Bills trailed 28-6 at the half to the San Diego Chargers, a game SD went on to win 31-20.
Davis, playing in his tenth NFL season (3 with Miami and 6 with Indianapolis) signed with the Bills this offseason. He was a 'healthy scratch' from the lineup in Week 1 and made his Bills debut on Sunday afternoon.
