Utica, NY (WIBX) - Convicted rapist Robert Blainey is back in central New York.Blainey, who was arrested earlier this week in Montoursville, Pennsylvania driving the car of murder victim Linda Turner, is being held in the Oneida County Jail on a parole warrant.

There have been no charges filed by Utica Police at this time, but officials say Blainey will likely face several charges, including murder and rape.

Turner was found dead last week at the Davis Motel on Herkimer Road in Utica.

Utica Police says Blainey had been hiding at the motel for at least two days before he allegedly sexually assaulted and then strangle Turner.
