Boilermaker Registrations Up

Utica, NY (WIBX) - The race may be a little over five months away, but it's not too early to sign up for the Boilermaker.

So far, 1,958 runners have registered for the 15-k race and 177 are registered for the 5-k, according to the race officials.

Last year at this time, 638 runners were signed up for the 15-k and 45 for the 5-k.

This year's cap has been set at 1,300 for the 15-k and 4,000 for the 5-k.

Online registrations are being accepted at www.Boilermaker.com.

Paper applications will be available, Saturday, February 5th from 9:00 a.m. until noon at the Planet Fitness locations in New Hartford and Rome.

The 34th Boilermaker takes place on Sunday, July 10th.
