Boonville Man Arrested on Drug Charges After Domestic Dispute

A Boonville man is now facing cocaine-related and assault charges after a fight allegedly took place at his home.

39-Year-old Michael Wahl was arrested on April 27, 2015 during an investigation into the assault of a woman at the home.

During their investigation New York State Police in Remsen say they found a "large quantity of cocaine."

Wahl has been formally charged with:

• assault (third degree, a misdemeanor)
• criminal possession of a controlled substance (fifth degree, a felony)

He was arraigned in the Town of Steuben Court and sent to the Oneida County Jail on $15,000 cash / $30,000 bond.

There is no other information available on the woman who was said to have been assaulted or her condition.
