BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — New York state is pitching in an additional $3.3 million toward the expansion of Buffalo's Albright-Knox Gallery.
The art gallery has set a $155 fundraising goal for its plans to add a building and enhance programming.
Philanthropist Jeffrey Gundlach, a Buffalo native, has pledged a total of $52.5 million to the AK360 project.
The expansion will add more than 25,000 square feet of space for exhibiting the museum's collection of modern and contemporary art.
