JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush takes his "Jeb Can Fix It" tour into early voting South Carolina and New Hampshire this week to re-introduce himself as the lone Republican who can right what's wrong with Washington.

He tested the new campaign slogan in Florida Monday.

His Mr. Fix It message could apply as much to his effort to steady the campaign as it does to his sense of confidence about handling the nation's problems.

Bush is trying to reset his campaign as a populist surge has propelled the outsider campaigns of bombastic Donald Trump and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson.

Bush said in Florida Monday that he is not going to campaign as an angry candidate because "it's not what's in my heart."
