Calling Hours, Service Scheduled For Girl Thrown By Horse
WOODSTOCK, N.H. (AP) — Calling hours are being held at a funeral home for a 4-year-old girl who suffered fatal injuries after being thrown from a horse during a show in Lancaster, New Hampshire, last week.
Officials say Mackennah Mae Caulder died Friday at a hospital after she was thrown from the horse while participating in the White Mountains Riding Horse Show at the Lancaster Fair.
Calling hours are being held Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fournier-Hale Funeral Home in North Woodstock.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Woodstock Cemetery in Woodstock.
Last year, a Vermont man and his 6-year-old daughter were killed when a storm blew through the fairgrounds, toppling a tent during a circus show. Fifty other people were hurt.
