Chart Industries To Close Western NY Plant With 150 Workers

AMHERST, N.Y. (AP) — Chart Industries says it will close a Buffalo-area manufacturing facility in a move that will affect 150 employees.

Local media report that the work being done now in Amherst will move to an existing campus in Canton, Georgia.

Employees were told of the news on Monday.

Chart Industries makes respiratory products including oxygen containers and compressors.
