Clock From Rochester NY Central Station Back In City

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — A clock from a demolished Rochester train station is back in the city, and will be installed in Rochester's new train station.

Congresswoman Louise Slaughter will display the clock from Rochester's New York Central Station during a media availability at her Rochester office on Thursday. The Democrat says her staff recently located the clock for placement in the city's new $29.5 million dollar station set to open in the coming weeks.

The old station, known as the Bragdon Station, opened in 1914 and was demolished in 1965. The so-called temporary station that replaced it has been in use for nearly 40 years.
