Governor Andrew Cuomo is urging New Yorkers to be cautious on the roads following a two-car accident on the Thruway.

Cuomo came across the accident in Selkirk on his way back from a storm briefing in Kingston.

He says no was injured, but the couple in the car was understandably shaken.

The governor helped the couple get out of the cold and drove them to the nearest State Police Thruway barracks.

"It's still dangerous out there. New York State Troopers have already responded to more than 740 storm-related crashes statewide. Staying off the road allows first responders to do their job, "Make sure to watch out for each other and offer assistance to those you see in need!" said Cuomo.
