Governor Mario Cuomo's favorable rating and support for re-election slipped once again, according to a new Siena poll.  While the governor's 62-percent positive rating is solid, it's a considerable slide from his 72-percent positive rating in December.

41-percent of New Yorkers say Cuomo is doing a good job but when asked about re-election in 2014, his 53-percent positive is down by nine points from December.  Additionally, Cuomo's negative ratings is up twelve points from the December level.

When it comes to the sincerity of his decisions, 49-percent of New Yorkers feel he's doing what's best for the State while 48-percent feels his decisions are based on what's best for his political future.
