Cycling The Erie Canal Bike Tour Comes Through Today

Rome, NY (WIBX) -  Ten thousand calories...that is how much each rider is expected to burn in the Cycling the Erie Canal bike tour making its way through our area today.

More than five hundred riders from thirty-six states and four countries are taking part in the 14th annual 400-mile tour along the legendary canal.

After spending last night in Fort Stanwix the riders are expected to pass through our area today as they make their way toward Scotia.
