DA’s Office To Investigate Trooper Involved Shooting
Oneida County District Attorney Scott McNamara says the New York State Attorney General’s Office has determined they do not have jurisdiction in the recent State Police officer involved shooting in the Town of Lee.
McNamara says the DA's Office will proceed with its investigation into the matter.
Trooper Robert Annorino shot and killed 24-year old Tyler Johnson after Johnson allegedly lunged at him with a knife.
Police had been called to a home on Golly Road for a possible overdose.
