R.A. Dickey became the first player in 24 years to thrown consecutive one-hitters and Ike Daivs hit a grand slam to help the Mets snap a three game losing streak by beating the Orioles 5-0 on Monday night.

Dickey (11-1) hasn't allowed an earned run 42 2/3 innings, the second longest streak in team history (Dwight Gooden, 49 innings), and Wilson Betemit's fifth inning single snapped Dickey's 13-inning hit-less streak. Dickey's 13 strikeouts were a career best, the third time this season he has set a new career high for K's.

David Wright had New York's other RBI with an infield single that scored Jordany Valdespin.

Jake Arrieta (3-9) surrendered Davis' sixth inning grand slam after walking Lucas Duda to load the bases.
